Both are located on NM 90 southwest of Silver City. Tyrone is a quiet, well kept "suburban" subdivision town located just 5 miles south of Silver City. It has a community center, post office and nice parks. The homes are ranch style and modest. The setting for this town is quite nice with the homes overlooking a park area next to an arroyo. White Signal is a rural area of homes located near the Big Burro mountains between Lordsburg and Silver City. The hills around White Signal exhibit some of the largest evergreen oaks in Grant County.
